The opossum is actually a sign of protection of a youth-like dream. Or, it can indicate protection of your inner thoughts and vibrations. An adult opossum is associated with fears and anxieties. an adolescent opossum is symbolic of life changes that can affect adult life. Be certain that you are not following in with the crowd and you are being your best authentic self. Not what others appropriate to you as ‘right’. When a mother/adult opossum leaves behind her young it is then a sign that the universe is entrusting you with insightful wisdom that others only dare touch/interpret.
